Protests against genocide are exactly the same as being pro Hamas and anti semetic.

Another ‘issue’ for MAGAts to weaponize and LIE about.

Hamas started this latest war with their massacre and now Israel is being blamed by the Pro-Palestinian movement.

Once again, some of the passengers of Spaceship Planet Earth are fighting over the seating arrangements. Meanwhile the Spaceship itself is on a course that will result in the loss of life support for nearly all on board.

No safety for Hamas. Hmm…where do they live? Oh, yeah. In Gaza. That’s a problem.

The Palestiniains have refused every possibiilty for a State because they want it ALL – or nothing. Well, they’ve got nothing but they always blame others for their choices. Told by the Grand Mufti and the Egyptian and Syrian leaders in1948 to LEAVE so they could wage war and “drive the Jews into the sea” (yes, the Arabs were genocidal from the very beginning) they LOST the war and couldn’t go back…but they blame Israel for the refugee problem. Meanwhile between 1948-1970 All the surrounding Arab nations forced their own Jews to leave as refugees – 900,000 of them… but nobody even notices! Why not? Because they left and made new homes from themselves elsewhere, instead of crying and holding up keys and insisting on going back.

Protestors – “History will judge us as the group most enlightened and qualified to make decisions about running this country and our universities” says the generation that ate Tide pods.

Maybe if the UN created Palestine when they created Israel in 1947. I know the Palestinians refused but the UN should have put their foot down. Palestinians and Jews each with their own countries with Jerusalem sitting in Israel but half of the city falls under Palestine. There, job done!

When the war started, I did not know what the best course of action would be. All of my military training prepared me for war in a jungle, dessert, the rolling hills of the Fulda Gap and the steppes of the Soviet Union. The only thing I knew about urban warfare was that it is the last thing Sun Tzu recommends in The Art of War.

Now with 20-20 hindsight, I have a bad solution. The Israeli army had the capability of blitzing through Gaza in two or three days. The bulk of the fighting would have been over before either side had a change to sustain massive casualties

This would leave us with a very messy occupation, but an occupation with some civility. The lights would be on, water would be running, food would be available in the markets, hospitals would be open. There is NO reason why Israel can’t claim victory now and open the country. If they are concerned that bringing back such life supporting activities will also benefit Hamas, so be it. It will benefit the people more.

There would undoubtedly be guerilla activity from Hamas and terrorist attacks. This would make them the bad guys. Unfortunately, there would also be civilian casualties in such actions, but a LOT less than what has been sustained over the past 7 months (Sun Tzu also warns against protracted wars).

As for the occupation, it would be primarily a political headache to resolve and the military issue would be secondary.

By continuing it’s subjugation of the population, Israel has already created a generation of people who have every right to hate them.

Guess the right to assemble and the right to speak is being edited by those who want only their voice heard and for people to overlook the murder of innocent civilians and volunteer aid workers. What is the death count as of today? Are they competing with the death count from the 40 and the 50 from Irgun, Lehi, and Haganah, of course the latter is still running up their headcount in the guise of the Israeli military, wonder how many mass graves have not been found from the 40s and 50s? FYI I am against the murder of innocent people to include those giving them humanitarian aid.

Does anyone else notice that the protests did not start until the Palestinian death toll hit around 10,000? Explain why there should not be protests.

As long as the protests remain non-violent, they should continue under the First Amendment. If the protestors violate a law, such as trespassing, they SHOULD be arrested on that or other misdemeanor charges.

It is called “Civil Disobedience” and that kind of protest is why we no longer have separate but equal schools and segregated lunch counters. Drastic injustices deserve drastic countermeasures. When Israel uses weapons supplied by the United States to subjugate the population of Gaza, people die. When demonstrators block traffic, people are late for work. There is NO comparison.

As a citizen, you have a right to disagree. You do not have a right to punish them simply because they do not think like you do.

Palestinians COULD have had there own country back in 1948, but rejected the UN’s offer. Jews from all over the world are welcome to settle in Israel, but its seems NOBODY wants the Palestinians to move into THEIR country. I wonder why . . . ?
