By tomorrow morning they’ll be back to trashy littering. :^(

I see what they did here! They skipped a week of the Sunday reruns last week to coordinate the Earth day comic from April 22, 2001 in the archive with today’s. …. Very clever! Now if they could just start posting the dailies intermixed with these Sundays …… since Stone Soup Classics doesn’t seem to be returning anytime soon.

Earth Day?

Alas, it takes far more than a day.

And far more — indeed, almost universal — participation.

Earth Day EVERYDAY!!

For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof. 1 Cor. 10:26Take time today to worship the creator and take care of what He has given us!

April 22 is Earth Day. It’s more important than April 20, which drug users have turned into an unofficial “holiday.” The media has recently been pushing the latter.

What is more important? Developing clean, renewable energy sources, reducing carbon emissions and countering global warming? Or getting high? It seems too many people have the wrong set of priorities.

I used to think a lot of the trash in the neighborhood was from careless people. Some of it is. However, we frequently have winds in the 15 to 10 mph range on garbage day. The garbage trucks are scientifically designed so that wind can blow loose pieces of garbage away as the bins are dumped by the automated pickup system. Bag your trash.

We need Earth 365 Days. We can take a day off every 4 years.

and now the city will take it over to the dump and toss it in. Over 95% of all recyclables do not get recycled.
