Funny. Biden has limited his to small group of Black women.

Yet the vast majority actually want everyone to be considered. Huh. Funny that.

Trump choice based the three Supreme Court justices on religious beliefs and support of the investor class, to assure the continuation of policy that affirms corporate rights and a definition of religious freedom that limits people’s individual rights. Best legal mind was NOT a consideration. Also, didn’t the Federalist Society put these people in his ear. Trump isn’t smart enough or educated enough to know much of anything.

Well, when your world is so limited as how Trumplicans see things, Biden’s want of a black female is very limiting.

It’s offensive that the republigoons, their sycophants/apologists and their servants/slaves want this country to be a white majority country and everyone else be second class people.

The process goes something like this: From “everybody”, filter in or out the ones who (pick any criterion), and the ones who (pick any other criterion), and the ones who … until you’ve covered all the criteria that you need to care about. This is, logically, A and B and C and … and Z. The rules of logic are that “and is commutative” which means that it doesn’t matter what order you do it in. If Biden wants to select people who are black and female he can do that first, middle or last and the SAME SET WILL RESULT.

Is it reasonable to select only people who have a track record of rulings that (mostly) seem to be “correct by my preferences”? Absolutely yes. That’s the President’s prerogative. And of course Mitch etc. can object and potentially force him to find someone else. So is it also reasonable to select a black woman? Absolutely yes, because THAT TOO is the President’s prerogative.

PS: It’s also perfectly reasonable for people who oppose everything Biden does to complain about… everything he does. That doesn’t make it right. Or correct.

It doesn’t matter if Biden chooses the most qualified judge regardless of race, the right will whine about him not keeping his campaign promise (like they care).

Biden did a stupid thing. Admitted. Now pick the best qualified, who just happens to be a colored female.

More RW outrage. I guess Biden should have left his options open for someone who:

Committed perjury to get onto the DC circuit court.

A collage frat boy who avoided real investigation because of a hamstrung DOJ.

A religious cult follower who believes the man makes decides what the woman can or can’t do.

A senile jurist whose activist wife makes all the decisions for him.

I don’t have a problem picking Judges who actually understand the original intent and purpose of the Constitution.

Not to mention the fact that Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett have been disappointments to some conservatives. Those who prefer their own version of the Constitution over the actual document.

Well, I heard Cruz proclaim that Biden was going to pick his SCOTUS nominee “from a list forced upon him from a radical leftist part of his party”.

And he knows this because Republican presidents always have to pick their SCOTUS nominee from a list forced upon him from a RWNJ controlled radical right wing part of his party.

But there is no Left equivalent to the Federalist Society. Only the right has a shadowy secretive puppet-master organization deciding who gets to be a judge when Republicans are in power.

    Funny, that!

So tell me, how does picking a person by only the color of their skin and their gender, compare to picking a person by their judicial philosophy and qualifications? You see, the federalist society puts people on their list of judges they approve based on their judicial record for upholding the US Constitution as it is written. They do not look at the persons color, gender, or political background.

One also might note that all six of those “randomly-selected wise persons” are of the Roman Catholic confession. That’s about 20% of the population of the US, and that much only because of all those brown-skinned Latinx’s so scorned and feared by Publicans generally.
