“Having a talk” and “having a good talking to” are not the same thing at all. Brutus isn’t going to like this.

Beagle? None of my 3 beagles I have had ever had the wet dog smell or the doggy smell.

I always go with mine, and she goes willingly. On occasion I don’t leave the porch, and she will still go, since she knows I won’t leave her.

Floss, floss, floss. It’s not so easy in public and not polite at the table. No one wants to watch someone else floss, do they?

Puppies need to get out there and do their therapy everywhere they can go. When I am walking my dog, I have to stop for all puppies and small dogs. With approval, I will pick them up for a minute or two. The ones who already know me come running for attention. My dog just sort of rolls her eyes and waits.

I realized recently that emotional support dogs need no training (that part I knew), and service dogs don’t need to prove training, either. Only therapy dogs need to pass training, get certified and re-certify yearly. Your area requirements may vary.

Potty training can be a frustrating chore, and accidents happen. Not everyone needs to know the details.

If he can look up how to look up something, then he is just being silly.

I never was able to convince my mom that I could “taste” by smelling food. I still do that. I willingly went to my room, to bed, without eating something that smelled inedible to me. Money was not an issue, dominance was. Once I forced myself to try something that smelled wrong to me, and I threw up.

Of course, Bunny starts to walk towards people who will tell me they have allergies, and I keep her away from them. Some say they are allergic and really are just afraid, and I keep her away with a smile, also. That one woman, I think she had just never been around a dog she was willing to pet, and she was delighted at how it made her feel. That wasn’t even close to the first time someone trusted Bunny as their first dog petting experience. Most end up asking me to take their picture with Bunny on their phone. It’s such a heartwarming experience.
